

I justified it as being the same as leaving your NES on, so I also don't think it counts. I also did use savestates when I needed to take a break, so it wasn't all in one sitting. There was one time I did have to use warps because I forgot to press A but I don't think it counts. I made use of the "Start + A" trick to get me back whenever I game over'd. So yeah, I challenged myself to play through every single level of the game. I don't know if anyone else is like me, but whenever I would play the game before, I would just go straight to world 4 from the level 1-2 warp zone then call it a day.
